elcome to Internal Medicine Clinic. My wife, Dr. Sumayya Ahmed, and I have proudly served the Stark and Tuscarawas County areas for over a decade. As doctors of internal medicine, we are committed to employing our skills and expertise to diagnose and treat patients across the entire spectrum, including preventative care, primary care, diagnostics, and long-term care. We believe that health care is most effective when offered in an individual relationship between the patient and the doctor, because this allows us to provide a continuity of care. Our office is unique for several reasons. First, we are affiliated with three different hospitals in the region: Aultman Hospital of Canton, Mercy Medical Center of Canton, and Union Hospital of Dover. These affiliations mean that we have privileges at all three of these hospitals and can continue to manage your care should you need to be admitted to the hospital. Second, we offer many different specialized care procedures in the office, such as skin biopsies, lung function testing, and a variety of cardiac and radiology tests. We do offer specialized referrals whenever necessary. Finally, we are committed to treating patients’ health across the entire spectrum, including prevention, diagnosis, short-term treatment, and long-term management.
